It was born as an organization of the Indonesia government Department of Agriculture official recognition in 2005.
The farmer group of Indonesia is systematized and it strives for introduction and spread to in and outside through a market in and outside the country by using Indonesia native Melinjo with high nutritional information as agricultural products.
Moreover, it sets it as the main purposes to prevent and protect destruction of the forest in Indonesia containing Melinjo.
In order to bring the farmer of Indonesia more work, to begin a farmer's right and to tie to improvement in a life by the spread of Melinjo, it is working cooperating with NPO JASMELINDO.

Offer of the seedling of 1000 Melinjo was received in ASMELINDO from the Indonesia government Department of Agriculture in December, 2008.
It will plant at the Bangkok Village Muzaki farm of the Kediri suburbs on January 4, 2009, and growth will be watched.
The harvest of a fruit will be possible for it in three years after Melinjo plants a seedling.
Let's expect that the red fruit of Melinjo will fruit heavily in three years.
